Copyright Infringement Notices – Leo Network

At Leo Network, we take copyright protection very seriously. Digital music platforms have systems to identify releases that may contain infringing material and allow third parties to submit copyright claims. It is your responsibility to ensure you hold the exclusive rights to distribute any music you upload.

Before uploading a release, you must confirm that:

  • You have obtained all necessary permissions for samples or other third-party material.
  • You have secured proper licenses for cover songs.
  • You have confirmed your rights to upload any unofficial remixes or derivative works.

How copyright claims are handled

If a copyright claim is filed on a digital platform, that service will notify us of the alleged infringement. Each platform has its own procedures:

  • Some platforms may immediately remove the release while the claim is investigated.
  • Others may allow a short period to resolve the dispute before issuing a takedown.

What happens when a claim is filed against your release

When we receive notice of a claim, we will:

  • Notify you promptly and share the release details.
  • Provide the name of the digital service where the claim originated.
  • Share the claimant’s contact information so you can pursue resolution.

If you believe you have the rights to distribute the content, you must contact the claimant directly to resolve the issue and request that the claim be rescinded. Leo Network cannot mediate or represent you in legal disputes.

If you do not have the rights to distribute the release, we will:

  • Issue a takedown for the release across all services.
  • Request additional information about why the release was uploaded.
  • Place your account under review, which may lead to termination of your distribution agreement.

Response time requirement

We must act quickly on copyright issues. Once we notify you of a claim, you must respond within 96 hours. If you do not respond in that timeframe:

  • The affected release will be taken down from all services.
  • Your account will be placed on hold for pending and future uploads until the matter is resolved.

By ensuring proper licensing and permissions before uploading, you help protect your work and support a fair, compliant music ecosystem across digital platforms.
