There are multiple timelines to keep in mind as you upload and promote your release.
To release
We recommend you submit your music at least two weeks before its streaming launch. We process quickly, but corrections for issues like metadata or artwork errors can extend this timeline. For complex genres (Classical, Soundtrack and similar), or if you might need help with the process, please allow extra time.
To update
If you need to make any changes to your release once it has gone live, including things like metadata or cover artwork, please get in touch with us with the release's UPC. Updates to live releases generally take between 10–14 working days to go live on the digital services.
Note: we cannot make changes to all aspects of your release after it has gone live. To learn more about what changes can be made, browse the Music Distribution section.
To take down
If you need your release taken down from all digital music services, you will need to submit a takedown request via your relationship manager. It can take approximately 14 working days for takedowns to be completed across all services due to varying ingestion times. Takedowns are not immediate and cannot be scheduled to an exact date, so please keep this in mind.
To start a takedown, contact our team with the release's UPC.
