Incorrect artist mapping is a common issue on Apple Music and iTunes, and it can happen to any artist. If your release appears on the wrong artist page, we can help move it to the correct page quickly.
Please reach out to your relationship manager and provide the following information:
- UPC of the release or releases
- Link to the wrong artist page
- Link to the correct artist page (or tell us you need a new page if it is your first release)
- Affected artist name, with the correct casing and spelling
Important: the name on the correct artist page must match the artist name delivered in the release metadata. Releases will be moved within 5 working days after the request is submitted. Artist mapping issues do not affect streaming data or royalties.
