Music Distribution

Why did the track title change after I submitted it?

Track titles may be adjusted after submission if they don't follow the formatting or style guidelines required by streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and others. Leo Network adheres to the official metadata standards set by these platforms to ensure consistent and professional presentation across services.

Common reasons for title changes

  • Excessive capitalisation, symbols or emojis (for example "LOVE!!! ❤️" changed to "Love")
  • Use of unapproved abbreviations or slang terms
  • Artist names or featured credits included in the title instead of the correct metadata fields
  • Typos, spacing or formatting inconsistencies corrected automatically for clarity

If your track title was changed and you believe it was an error, please contact your Leo Network relationship manager or support team with the original title. They can review the change and guide you on how to resolve it.
